portage

One summer.
Three sides of it.

Portage is a working prototype of a summer-camp platform for Ottawa: parents plan and register without the 9:00 a.m. panic, camps fill their season without the chaos, and counselors run the day without the binder.

Simulated demo. Every family, camp, and kid is fictional. Nothing here saves or sends anything — tap freely, and use each app’s Restart button to replay.
🛶 Parent
Priya plans a summer for Zoé and Sam — browse camps, flag weeks, get pinged the moment registration opens, register in one tap.
🏕 Camp
Cèdre Day Camp sees its demand before opening, absorbs the Feb 10 registration rush, runs its waitlist and team, and reconciles every dollar.
🎒 Counselor
Sophie runs day one: gate check-ins, allergy-first camper cards, headcounts, an incident, and pickup verified by one-time QR passes.

The thread to follow

It’s one connected story. In the parent app, Priya flags Cèdre for Zoé and wins the spot at 8:00:11 on Feb 10. In the camp app, that same registration lands on Cèdre’s dashboard in the opening-morning wave. In the counselor app, Zoé walks through Sophie’s gate at 8:42 on Jul 6 — and at pickup, the one-time pass her mom issued to Grand-maman is scanned and verified.
